Casio has introduced its Edifice EFK-110D Automatic series in India, priced at Rs 27,995. The collection comprises three variants: the EFK-110D-1A, EFK-110D-2A, and EFK-110D-7A, each featuring a stainless-steel case and a Japanese automatic movement.
Design and Dial
The dial is the standout feature, crafted using an electroforming process that creates a texture inspired by forged carbon, a material often used in high-performance automobiles. Dimensional hour markers, a sharp bezel, and bold case detailing complete the motorsport-inspired aesthetic.
Movement and Specifications
The watch is powered by a Japanese automatic movement with approximately 42 hours of power reserve. It operates at 21,600 vibrations per hour, incorporates 21 jewels, and includes a hacking seconds function for precise time-setting. A see-through screw-lock case back allows users to view the movement in action.
The case measures 38mm in width and 11.8mm in thickness, weighing 143 grams on its solid stainless-steel band. This size is relatively restrained by current sports-watch standards. The dial is protected by scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, and the watch offers 100-meter water resistance, making it suitable for everyday use, swimming, and light watersports.
