Asus has expanded its India Chromebook portfolio with three new models aimed at students and young professionals: the Chromebook CM32 Detachable, CM14, and CM15. Pricing starts at ₹26,990, with the CM32 open for pre-order from today (June 12) and the CM14 and CM15 going on sale across Amazon and the ASUS E-shop on June 19. All three lean on ChromeOS, Google AI integration, and battery life as their core pitch.
Pricing and Availability
The CM14 starts at Rs 26,990, the CM15 at Rs 28,990, and the CM32 Detachable at Rs 37,990. Pre-order buyers of the CM32 can pick up a Rs 11,418 bundle—a warranty extension, three years of accidental damage cover, and the Asus MD102 Silent Ergo Mouse—for Rs 999. No Cost EMI and Asus Easy Financing apply across all three.
Features and Specifications
Arnold Su, Vice President, Consumer and Gaming Business System at Asus India, said the lineup is built for users looking for devices that combine simplicity, mobility, and intelligent experiences without unnecessary complexity.
Each Chromebook ships with three months of Google AI Pro and 5TB of cloud storage.
Asus CM32 Detachable
The CM32 is the most distinctive of the three. It is a detachable 2-in-1 weighing 640g, with a 2.5K touchscreen running at 120Hz behind Corning Gorilla Glass. The magnetic stand, spill-resistant detachable keyboard, and Asus Pen are included rather than sold separately. Battery life is rated at 12 hours over USB Type-C, the chassis is metallic, and the device meets military-grade durability standards.
Asus CM14
The CM14 is the most affordable of the three. It pairs a 14-inch narrow-bezel display with the MediaTek Kompanio 540 and a battery rated at 20 hours. The 180-degree lay-flat hinge is positioned for classroom and group-work scenarios, where the screen often needs to face more than one person.
Asus CM15
The CM15 inherits the CM14's internals—the Kompanio 540, the 20-hour battery rating, the lay-flat hinge—and steps the display up to 15 inches. At Rs 28,990, the Rs 2,000 premium covers the larger panel, making it the choice for users who would rather have screen area than the lighter chassis of the CM14.
