An Indian delegation, led by social activist Nirmala Rawat, is set to depart for Malaysia to compete in the upcoming Asian Paralympic Throwball Championships. The event will take place from June 1 to 5, 2026, and is expected to feature approximately 400 athletes from various countries.

Advocate Lalit Sharma, who serves as the Public Relations Officer (PRO) for the Olympic Games Throwball Federation, will also be part of the delegation. He emphasized that this competition provides a golden opportunity for athletes with disabilities to showcase their talent on an international stage.
Several other prominent personalities will accompany the delegation, including Laxman Rawat, Om Prakash Sharma, Prof Pradeep Kumar Prajapati, Dr Seema Sharma, Dr Mamta Prajapati, and Mahesh Sharma.
