A compact yet enthusiastic group of supporters gathered outside the stadium to greet the players as the RCB contingent arrived around 4:30 PM. The training session extended for two hours before inclement weather prompted an early conclusion at 6:30 PM.
The spotlight, as anticipated, was firmly on Virat Kohli. The former captain appeared in rhythm immediately as the session opened with a team huddle. Kohli and head coach Andy Flower addressed a partially assembled squad during this gathering.
Notable Absences and Overseas Player Logistics
Skipper Rajat Patidar emerged as the most significant absentee and is projected to join the team on Thursday. Batting coach Dinesh Karthik was also missing from the session. Amid the persistent noise of construction work inside the stadium, Kohli's bat produced the most resonant sounds. His trademark lofted strokes repeatedly cleared the midwicket boundary, landing deep into the stands with authority.
Kohli trained alongside Karnataka skipper and southpaw Devdutt Padikkal, with the duo alternating turns against a combination of pace and spin bowling. In an intriguing tactical shift, RCB opted against using net bowlers for this session. Instead, they relied on their own bowling unit and sidearm specialists to provide practice.

Home Schedule and Event Cancellation
RCB, who returned to the Bengaluru venue after considerable deliberation, will launch their campaign against fellow southern competitors Sunrisers Hyderabad on March 28. They are scheduled to play four additional home games at this stadium and will contest two fixtures in Raipur.
The franchise's popular 'Unbox' event has been scrapped for this season. This fan engagement initiative, which has attracted substantial crowds in recent seasons, will not be held this year. While no official announcement has been made, it appears the tight schedule and planned mock drills at the stadium on March 23 and 26 influenced this decision.
