Finn Allen Joins Elite List with Second 10-Six IPL Innings in 2026
Finn Allen Hits 10 Sixes Again in IPL 2026, Joins Elite List

Finn Allen continued his outrageous six-hitting spree in IPL 2026 and entered an elite list on Saturday after smashing 10 sixes during Kolkata Knight Riders' clash against Gujarat Titans. The explosive KKR opener has now registered two IPL innings with 10 or more sixes, joining only a handful of batters to achieve the feat multiple times in league history. Only Chris Gayle has done it more often, with four such innings to his name.

Most 10+ Sixes Innings in IPL History

  • Chris Gayle – 4 times
  • Abhishek Sharma – 2 times
  • Vaibhav Sooryavanshi – 2 times
  • Finn Allen – 2 times

Allen produced another breathtaking innings at Eden Gardens after GT won the toss and chose to field first. The right-hander launched a brutal attack on every Gujarat bowler and raced to a 21-ball half-century, completely shifting the momentum in KKR's favour during the powerplay. The New Zealand batter eventually fell for a stunning 93 off just 35 deliveries, narrowly missing out on what would have been one of the fastest IPL hundreds ever. His innings included four boundaries and 10 massive sixes at a strike rate of 265.71.

Allen's innings finally ended when Sai Kishore outfoxed him with flight and drift. Attempting another towering hit down the ground, Allen backed away and looked to clear the ropes once more, only to find Rashid Khan stationed safely at wide long-on.

The knock also pushed Allen further into KKR's record books. His 93 is now the highest individual score by a KKR batter against Gujarat Titans in IPL history. It was also Allen's second IPL innings this season featuring 10 sixes, after his earlier carnage against Delhi Capitals in Delhi. He now shares the second spot for most sixes in a single innings for KKR.

At a time when KKR are fighting to stay alive in the playoff race, Allen's fearless batting has emerged as one of the few bright spots in an inconsistent campaign for the defending champions.
