Traffic Restrictions Announced for Red Bull Moto Jam 2.0 in Greater Noida

The Noida traffic police have issued a crucial advisory regarding potential traffic restrictions scheduled for Sunday, specifically between 2pm and 10pm. This measure is in response to the highly anticipated Red Bull Moto Jam 2.0 event taking place at Expo Mart in Greater Noida. While the motorsports festival will be contained within the venue, authorities warn that traffic may be diverted from the roundabout if congestion occurs, ensuring smooth flow and safety for all road users.

Event Details and High-Octane Performances

Red Bull Moto Jam is a premier motorsports festival that draws enthusiasts from across the country, featuring top stunt riders who deliver electrifying performances. Attendees can expect daring jumps, gravity-defying wheelies, and precision drifts that promise an adrenaline-fueled experience. Following its successful debut in Chennai last year, the second edition in Greater Noida aims to offer an immersive spectacle for thrill-seekers, with gates opening at 4pm and the main show commencing at 6pm.

Star-Studded Lineup and Expected Crowd

The event will showcase a stellar lineup of international talent, including British F1 racing driver Arvid Lindblad, Lebanese rally driver and triple national champion Abdo Feghali, and Lithuanian stunt bike rider Arunas Gibieza. Highlights of the show include an F1 car showrun, drifting exhibitions, stunt biking, and car stunts. Organizers anticipate nearly 6,000 visitors, underscoring the festival's popularity and scale.

Traffic Management and Entry Protocols

To manage the influx, the traffic police have outlined strict entry protocols. Only valid pass holders and designated shuttle services will be permitted entry through Gate No. 3, while Gate No. 7 is reserved exclusively for VIPs. Entry through the other 10 gates will be restricted to maintain order and security. Shuttle services for the venue will operate from the NASA parking area at Knowledge Park, providing convenient transportation for attendees.

Emergency Preparedness and Diversion Plans

In a proactive move, two green corridors have been established from the venue to Yathartha Hospital in Greater Noida, ensuring swift emergency movement if needed. Noida's Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic), Shailendra Kumar Singh, detailed the diversion plan: "Vehicles moving from Galgotias University cut towards IFS Village via the Expo Mart roundabout will be rerouted through the NASA roundabout, Sharda University roundabout, LG roundabout, and Jagat Farm." This strategic rerouting aims to minimize disruptions and enhance safety during the event hours.
