The Tennessee Titans have endured a difficult stretch on the field over the past two seasons, managing only three wins against 14 losses in 2024 and 2025. As the team prepares for the upcoming season, the Titans are actively seeking roster improvements.
Titans Linked to Former Bills Star Joey Bosa
According to a recent report from CBS Sports' Tyler Sullivan, the Tennessee Titans could potentially pursue former Buffalo Bills standout Joey Bosa. Sullivan noted, "Tennessee did trade into the back end of the first round to select Auburn edge rusher Keldric Faulk, but I don't think that move blocks any sort of pursuit of Bosa. The Titans could still stand to add another body to help pressure the quarterback…"
Sullivan also highlighted a connection between Bosa and the Titans: "Bosa is at a stage of his career where he is best served as a rotational piece. There's also an obvious link here between Bosa and the Titans thanks to defensive coordinator Gus Bradley, who coached Bosa for four seasons with the Chargers."
The Titans have remained tight-lipped regarding trade discussions involving the 30-year-old pass rusher.
Bosa's Recent Performance and Injury Struggles
Joey Bosa has been a productive player throughout his career, but his recent seasons have been hampered by injuries. After signing a one-year deal with the Buffalo Bills last season, he recorded five sacks, 29 total tackles (17 solo), and two passes defended while dealing with a hamstring injury.
During the 2024 season with the Los Angeles Chargers, Bosa started nine of 14 games, tallying 5.0 sacks, 13 quarterback hits, and 22 tackles. He played 49.6% of defensive snaps, the lowest of his career, due to a gluteal strain that caused severe sciatic nerve pain.
Despite these setbacks, Bosa was selected for the 2025 Pro Bowl Games, with many expecting him to rebound in the new season.
As Bosa focuses on his recovery, speculation continues about his next destination. The Titans, seeking to bolster their defensive line, remain a potential landing spot.
