The car caught fire under Janey's seat and her seatbelts were not released."
His voice breaking with emotion, Eric continued, "At that point she was fully engulfed in flames, Kylie had to reach in and release the seatbelt for her." He emphasized how close the situation came to turning fatal and made clear that Walton's quick thinking and courageous actions made all the difference.
"Kylie saved Janey's life," Eric stated unequivocally. "As a result, Kylie's hands were burnt." He further revealed that his wife suffered serious burns on her legs and shoulder that will require multiple surgical procedures. "Her left leg is burned pretty bad," he explained, noting that skin grafting will be necessary for recovery.
