Bengaluru's Premier Aquatic Center Hosts Major Swimming Event

The Nettakallappa Aquatic Centre in Bengaluru witnessed a significant moment in Indian swimming as it launched the Nettakallappa Swimming Competition on Saturday. The opening ceremony featured an impressive gathering of swimming authorities and champions. Sujata Tilak Kumar, Director of Nettakallappa Aquatic Centre, shared the stage with Pradeep Kumar, Dronacharya Awardee and former National head coach, demonstrating the center's commitment to excellence. KN Tilak Kumar, Chairman of Nettakallappa Aquatic Centre, and Varun Nijhawan, the Centre Head, completed the leadership presence at the prestigious event.

Among the standing participants were some of India's brightest swimming talents. Two-time Olympian Srihari Nataraj stood alongside other elite swimmers including Manavi Varma, Nina Venkatesh, Vidith S Shankar, and Darshan S. The group was complemented by NAC's lead coach Sharath Chandra, highlighting the comprehensive swimming ecosystem developing at the center.
