In a significant push towards fostering a drug-free generation, the Gumla district administration has teamed up with the sports department to organize a major athletic event. Titled the 'Krishna Oraon Athletics Competition-2025-26', this initiative is squarely aimed at steering the youth towards a healthier and more disciplined lifestyle through sports.

The athletics meet is scheduled to be held on January 12 in Gumla.
