Nyck De Vries of Mahindra Racing ended his long dry spell by winning day one of the Monaco E-Prix on Saturday, silencing his critics and securing Mahindra Racing's first victory of the GEN3 Evo era. The Dutch driver had struggled for form throughout the season, with his best previous result being fifth place in Miami. Jaguar TCS Racing driver Mitch Evans finished second, sandwiching between De Vries and Cupra Kiro rookie Pepe Marti, who celebrated his maiden podium in third place. Evans' runner-up finish helped him overtake Pascal Wehrlein and move to the top of the championship with 116 points and five podiums, including two wins. Marti's strong performance moved him into 10th place with 40 points.
