Sebastien Buemi Eyes Berlin E-Prix Success on 150th Race Start Milestone
Buemi Targets Berlin E-Prix Win on 150th Race Start

Fresh from his victory at the 6 Hours of Imola, Formula E driver Sebastien Buemi has set his sights on the upcoming double-header races at the Berlin E-Prix, where he will also achieve a significant milestone by registering his 150th race start in Formula E.

The Envision Racing driver is fully prepared and eager to compete in Berlin this weekend. He has spoken about his readiness ahead of the race weekend. Buemi is currently excelling across three racing disciplines simultaneously, also managing his participation in the World Endurance Championship (WEC) and serving as a Simulator Driver for Red Bull Racing in Formula One.

Sebastien Buemi Reveals What He Likes About Berlin E-Prix

Sebastien Buemi recently discussed the challenge of balancing three racing formats at once. When asked if Formula E remains his priority, the Envision Racing driver said, "Of course, with WEC, Red Bull and Formula E, to put it all together is not that simple. So I think a lot of my future will depend on, obviously, performance in general, as you have to be good, but also the calendars, as usual."

Buemi also elaborated on how the Pit Boost feature makes the two races at the Berlin double-header distinct from each other. He explained in an interview with FormulaE.com, "With Pit Boost, I usually like those races. The fact that there is only one Attack Mode, even if it's a bit longer at six minutes, means you need to qualify quite well because the Pit Boost races usually have more energy and less saving. The fact that there is only one Attack Mode also makes it more important to qualify well."

"And then, obviously, the second race, being more like a traditional race, usually allows you, even if you have a great strategy, to not have to be that fast. Whereas in the first race, you've got to have some proper speed, in my opinion," he added regarding the Round 8 race.

Sebastien Buemi's Standing in Formula E Season 12

Sebastien Buemi is one of the longest-serving Formula E drivers, having joined the electric racing series at its inception in 2014. He went on to win the Formula E World Championship in Season 2 while driving for Renault e.dams.

The 37-year-old Swiss driver currently sits ninth in the Formula E Drivers' Standings with 43 points. He secured his first podium of the season in Jeddah earlier this year.

Regarding the Berlin E-Prix, Buemi has won the German race twice, in addition to securing several other podiums at the venue. Given his strong track record, it would not be surprising if he adds another podium to his collection this season.
