Yogi Reviews Security for PM Modi's Lucknow Visit on Dec 25

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday conducted a comprehensive review of the preparations for Prime Minister Narendra Modi's upcoming visit to Lucknow. The Prime Minister is scheduled to inaugurate the newly constructed Rashtra Prerna Sthal on December 25, which coincides with the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee.

High-Level Meeting on Security and Arrangements

In a crucial meeting with senior officials, including heads of the home and housing departments, top police brass, and the Lucknow divisional administration, the Chief Minister laid out a detailed plan. He emphasized that the inauguration must be conducted with foolproof security and the highest standards of management. The review covered all critical aspects, including security protocols, traffic management, crowd control, hospitality, and VVIP protocol.

Adityanath directed that multi-layered security arrangements be implemented along the VVIP routes, at the helipad, the main venue, and all public congregation areas. Given the expected large turnout, these measures were deemed paramount for a smooth and safe event.

Rashtra Prerna Sthal: A Monument of Inspiration

The Rashtra Prerna Sthal project is dedicated to three towering figures: former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, ideologue Deen Dayal Upadhyay, and Bharatiya Jana Sangh founder Syama Prasad Mukherjee. The Chief Minister stated that the site is poised to become a powerful symbol of national consciousness, cultural heritage, and pride.

He expressed confidence that the monument would inspire future generations to embrace the ideals of national unity, integral humanism, and the vision of an Atmanirbhar Bharat (self-reliant India). The project includes a museum, an amphitheatre, landscaped gardens, and beautified approach roads, all of which were reviewed for timely completion.

Logistics for a Massive Gathering

Anticipating a crowd of nearly two lakh people from across Uttar Pradesh, the administration is leaving no stone unturned in logistical planning. The CM reviewed detailed arrangements for transport, parking layouts, designated bus routes, control rooms, and on-site medical units.

To ensure seamless coordination, he instructed officials to deploy nodal officers for every bus cluster, parking zone, and entry gate. For smooth traffic flow, clear signage for diversions, parking, and pedestrian movement must be installed. The Chief Minister also gave instructions for the proper management of reception, cultural programmes, and all related protocol components.

The state government aims to make the inauguration a landmark event, honoring the legacy of the leaders while ensuring a secure and memorable experience for all attendees.
