She undertook the inaugural heli ride for the Paramotor Aerial Adventure Sky Ride in Bhimavaram. This move highlights the district administration's focus on blending tradition with safe recreation during the festive season.

Collector Emphasizes Safety and Fresh Celebrations

Addressing the gathering after her flight, Nagarani explained the initiative. She said introducing adventure activities alongside age-old Sankranti customs would add a fresh dimension to celebrations. It would also attract more visitors to the town.

Describing her experience as exciting and memorable, Nagarani noted Bhimavaram's cultural vibrancy. The town is now being introduced to adventure tourism in a regulated and responsible manner. She stressed that safety received top priority. All necessary precautions and standards are in place to ensure a secure experience for participants.

Nagarani encouraged youth and children to come forward. She said such activities provide recreation and help build confidence when conducted under proper supervision.

Operational Details and Aerial Views

The collector provided specific details about the paramotor rides. They will operate throughout the Sankranti festival from 7.00 am to 6.00 pm daily. Four trained sky riders will be deployed each day.

Each ride can reach an altitude of up to 600 metres. This offers participants a unique aerial view of the surroundings. Nagarani urged families and festival visitors to make use of the opportunity. She said the initiative reflects the administration's efforts to promote tourism and community engagement during major festivals.
