In a tragic road accident on Friday night, two persons lost their lives and another was injured when a speeding tractor rammed into a motorcycle near the Jammalamadugu-Mydukur bypass road in Kadapa district, Andhra Pradesh.
Victims identified
The deceased have been identified as Shariff, 22, a resident of Chagalamarri, and Narasimhulu from Duvvur. The injured person, identified as Imam Khasim of Chagalamarri, was rushed to the government hospital in Proddatur for treatment.
Police investigation underway
Upon receiving information, Rural Circle Inspector Nagabhushanam visited the crime scene and arranged for the bodies to be sent for postmortem. The Proddatur rural police have registered a case and are conducting further investigations into the incident.
