The final day of campaigning for the Amravati Municipal Corporation elections saw heightened tensions on Tuesday. Supporters of the Yuva Swabhiman Party attempted to block a BJP campaign procession at Nehru Maidan, creating a brief standoff.
Police Intervention Prevents Escalation
Police had granted permission to both parties for their processions. The situation escalated when YSP workers stopped the BJP convoy. Authorities quickly intervened to bring the situation under control. BJP MLA Sanjay Kute also helped calm the situation. No injuries were reported from the incident.

In Badnera, Yuva Swabhiman Party founder and MLA Ravi Rana addressed a large rally at Junivasti–Bari Pura Chowk. Speaking at the event, Rana criticized some leaders for invoking historical figures for electoral gains. He emphasized his party's focus on resolving civic issues and developing wards.
Candidates of AIMIM and Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi also organized rallies in their respective prabhags. These events added to the charged atmosphere on the final day of campaigning.
