Hyderabad's Deputy Chief Minister, Bhatti Vikramarka, made a strong case for systematic and transparent government job recruitments, stating that delays severely impact the future of young aspirants. He emphasized that only a fair process would stand the test of merit and public trust.
Transparency is the Lifeblood of Recruitment
Speaking at the conclusion of the 26th national conference of Public Service Commission Chairpersons on Saturday, the Deputy CM outlined his vision. He declared that an annual job calendar for examinations is essential to instill confidence among the youth. Proper planning, according to him, prevents harmful delays that derail careers.
Vikramarka commended the Telangana Public Service Commission for its successful implementation of such a calendar. On behalf of the state government, he congratulated the commission's chairman and members. He stressed that transparency must be maintained at every single stage, starting from the preparation of question papers right through to the final selection of candidates.
Education as a Tool for Social Transformation
Earlier in the day, at a separate event, Bhatti Vikramarka shifted focus to the foundational role of education. He described it as the most powerful weapon to eradicate deep-rooted social inequalities. He argued that while capital and innovation can spark initial growth, sustained leadership and development come from strategic investment in human capital.
The state government's objective, under the leadership of Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, is to provide an education that blends practical skills with core human values. To achieve this, several key initiatives are underway:
- Rapid progress on the Skill University at Bharat Future City.
- Upgradation of 100 ITIs across Telangana into Advanced Technology Centres to boost employability and contribute to the state's GDP.
- Construction of 100 Young India Integrated Residential Schools with international standards to promote inclusive education.
A Message for Students and the Way Forward
Addressing students directly, the Deputy Chief Minister advised them to focus on continuous learning, adaptability, and strong ethics. He redefined productivity, stating it is not about working longer hours but about working smarter and more responsibly.
By linking a transparent, calendar-driven recruitment process with a robust, value-based education system, the Telangana government aims to create a powerful ecosystem for youth empowerment and state development.
