The Samajwadi Party (SP) orchestrated a comprehensive series of events throughout Prayagraj to honor the 135th birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar. Party leaders and workers gathered at multiple locations, paying floral tributes and homage, most notably at the statue of Dr. Ambedkar situated near the High Court Crossing. This initiative aimed to celebrate the legacy of the architect of the Indian Constitution and reinforce the party's commitment to his principles.

During the commemorations, party MLC Mansingh Yadav delivered a poignant address, highlighting the enduring significance of Dr. Ambedkar's contributions. "The Indian Constitution drafted by Ambedkar remains the cornerstone of the country’s democratic framework to this day," Yadav stated. He further emphasized, "It is the collective responsibility of all citizens to uphold the values enshrined in the Constitution—namely, equality, liberty, and fraternity." In a related development, preparations had been made to install statues of Dr. Ambedkar in Belwariya and Pacheda within the Koraon Assembly constituency. However, the local administration denied permission for these installations, citing issues regarding the land designated for the sites. This decision sparked discussions about bureaucratic challenges in commemorating historical figures.
Despite this setback, the party successfully installed a statue of Babasaheb at Dera Bari in the Bara Assembly constituency, symbolizing their ongoing dedication to honoring his memory.
