Rohit Pawar Extends Support to Families of Baramati Plane Crash Victims

In a compassionate gesture following the tragic Baramati plane crash, NCP (SP) MLA Rohit Pawar has personally met with the grieving relatives of two victims who lost their lives in the devastating incident over the past two days. The MLA has assured them of comprehensive assistance with education and employment opportunities, demonstrating a commitment to supporting those affected by this heartbreaking event.

Meeting with Family of Personal Security Officer Vidip Jadhav

On Saturday, Rohit Pawar visited the family members of Vidip Jadhav, the 37-year-old personal security officer who had been serving Ajit Pawar since 2019. Prior to this assignment, Jadhav had honorably served in the security detail of former Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, showcasing his dedication to public service. Jadhav was cremated with full state honors at Taradgaon in Phaltan tehsil, a testament to his valued contributions.

Jadhav, who was the only son of his parents, leaves behind his wife and two young children—a 14-year-old daughter and a nine-year-old son. In a bid to secure better educational prospects for his family, Jadhav had relocated them to Kalwa in Thane district. During his visit, Rohit Pawar interacted warmly with both children and reassured the family that he would take personal responsibility for their education, ensuring they receive the support needed during this difficult time.

Assistance for Flight Attendant Pinky Mali's Family

On Sunday morning, Rohit Pawar extended his support to the family of Pinky Mali, the 28-year-old flight attendant who also perished in the crash. During the meeting, the MLA discovered that Mali's brother, a commerce graduate, aspires to work in the aviation sector as a heartfelt tribute to his sister. This revelation highlighted the family's deep connection to the industry and their determination to honor Pinky's memory.

Rohit Pawar shared poignant details about the family's sacrifices, noting that Pinky Mali's father had purchased a small property in Mumbai to fund his children's education. He later sold this asset to support his daughter's dream of becoming a flight attendant, a dream that was tragically cut short. Currently, her father drives a taxi to make ends meet, while her brother seeks to bolster the family's finances by entering the aviation field.

"I spoke to some officials who informed me that Physics and Maths are essential requirements for certain aviation jobs," said Rohit Pawar after the meeting with Mali's family, who reside in Worli. "However, I have requested them to secure a ground work position for Mali's brother. We will persist in our efforts to help him find suitable employment, ensuring the family receives the support they deserve."

These meetings underscore Rohit Pawar's proactive approach in providing tangible aid to the bereaved families, emphasizing education and job opportunities as key pillars of recovery. The MLA's actions reflect a broader commitment to community welfare in the aftermath of the Baramati plane crash, offering a glimmer of hope amidst the sorrow.
