As a key part of the Gujarat state government's "Year of Urban Development 2025," the civic body will host a Swadeshi Cyclothon on Christmas Day, followed by a Swadeshi Run on December 28. Both the cyclothon and the run are scheduled to flag off at 6:30 AM from a common, iconic starting point: the statue of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel at Bahumali Bhavan Chowk on Racecourse Road.
