Pawan Kalyan Slams YSRCP Leaders for 'Provocative' Remarks Against Police
Pawan Kalyan warns YSRCP over threatening police statements

Jana Sena chief and Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan issued a stern warning to opposition YSRCP leaders on Monday, criticizing what he termed as their repeated "provocative and threatening" statements directed at police personnel in the state. He labeled such rhetoric as irresponsible and a clear danger to democratic institutions.

A Direct Warning Against Undermining Institutions

Addressing a gathering at the Jana Sena's organisational meeting titled ‘Padhavi-Badhyata’ (Position-Responsibility) in Mangalagiri, Kalyan emphasized that holding public office demands accountability and moral responsibility. "Indiscipline or misuse of authority would not be tolerated," he declared firmly. The event saw attendance from party MLAs, MLCs, local body representatives, and chairpersons of various state corporations.

He directly linked the state's development trajectory to the public's faith in its institutions. "Andhra Pradesh's development depended on people's trust in institutions like the police and judiciary," Kalyan stated. He accused the previous YSRCP regime of encouraging criminal elements and stressed that restoring institutional credibility is non-negotiable for progress.

Confidence in Governance, Expansion of Jana Sena

In a message aimed at stabilizing the administrative machinery, the Deputy Chief Minister urged government officials, employees, and industrialists not to be intimidated by opposition narratives. He expressed strong confidence, asserting that the YSRCP is not going to return to power.

Shifting focus to his party's growth, Kalyan highlighted significant organisational expansion. He revealed that nearly 3,400 leaders have been appointed to various posts within Jana Sena. The party currently boasts 21 MLAs and two MLCs in the state assembly. He attributed this growth to the party's "fixed principles and transparent approach to governance," claiming it is attracting leaders from other political outfits.

Grassroots Focus and Future Vision

Acknowledging the challenges of political building, Pawan Kalyan admitted that creating a robust party structure at the grassroots level cannot happen overnight. He reaffirmed his full commitment to strengthening Jana Sena from the village level upwards.

Looking ahead, he announced plans for the party's next formation day celebrations in March 2026. The event will be organized under the ‘Zen-G’ theme, which will concentrate on the core values of discipline, balance, and purposeful political engagement.
