Reema Kumari Gond, daughter of Vijay Gond, claimed that on April 10, Darauli SHO Avinash Kumar Jha arrived at her house with a woman constable when her parents were away. She alleged that the officers entered the house without permission, verbally abused her, and physically assaulted her. Most disturbingly, Reema stated that she was pushed off the roof, resulting in fractures to both legs and one arm.

Family members immediately rushed the injured girl to a local health center. From there, she was referred to Sadar hospital and later transferred to a private nursing home for specialized care.
