A tragic incident has shaken the Bari Ranko village in Khagaria district, where a 16-year-old boy died by suicide on Tuesday. The deceased has been identified as Amroj, a resident of the village under the jurisdiction of the Mufassil police station.

According to statements provided by family members, Amroj had participated in the immersion ceremony of the idol of Goddess Saraswati earlier in the day. After returning home from the religious event, he reportedly locked himself in a room. It was there that he shot himself, leading to his immediate death.

The Station House Officer (SHO) of Mufassil police station, Amarjit Singh, confirmed the incident and stated that the cause of death is not yet known.
