According to the complaint filed by Ravi Kumar, an auto driver residing in Sector 38, the conflict revolves around house number 682/1 in Sector-38A. He alleged that for approximately 22 years, his sister Tina, along with her minor son and other relatives including Ravi and his sons Gagan, Raj, and Aniket, had forcibly occupied the property. This longstanding tension set the stage for the violent altercation.
Sequence of Events Leading to the Tragedy
On March 5, at around 3:30 PM, Ravi Kumar's daughter Taniya (21), along with Khushi (16) and nephew Manav (16), visited the disputed house in an attempt to resolve the ongoing property dispute. During this visit, a heated quarrel erupted between the two parties, escalating quickly into violence.
The complainant detailed that during the fight, one of the minors attacked Taniya on her back with a sharp knife, causing her to collapse with severe injuries. In a further act of aggression, the accused also allegedly assaulted Manav with an iron spade, resulting in additional injuries. Taniya was rushed to the Government Multi-Specialty Hospital in Sector 16 (GMSH-16) in critical condition, but doctors declared her dead upon arrival, confirming the fatal outcome of the attack. Additionally, the accused are said to have pelted stones at the complainant's Swift car, adding to the chaos of the scene.
