Former Shiv Sena Leader Found Dead in Nashik Waterway
The body of Kailas Chaudhary, a 50-year-old former Zilla Parishad (ZP) member for the Shiv Sena, was discovered on Thursday afternoon in Nashik. Chaudhary had been missing since December 11, leading to an extensive search operation by the Nashik Road police.
Discovery Near Residence and Identification
The grim discovery was made around 1 pm by a female pedestrian in the Rajwada area. The body was found submerged in a nullah, situated only about 100 meters from his residence. Despite the body being in an advanced state of decomposition, family members and a large gathering of local residents were able to confirm his identity at the scene itself.
Police officials immediately cordoned off the area to begin their investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death. The site has been taken over for a thorough forensic and procedural examination.

Kailas Chaudhary served as the ZP member of Palse from 2007 to 2012. His sudden disappearance and subsequent death have sent shockwaves through the local political circles and his community.
