In Guwahati, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has meticulously crafted a detailed campaign blueprint for the upcoming Assam assembly elections. Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma officially declared that the party's extensive outreach initiative will commence on March 24, marking a significant phase in the electoral preparations.
High-Profile Campaigners and Rally Schedule
Sarma revealed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been formally invited to campaign for three days, with expectations that he will participate for at least two days. Additionally, Union Home Minister Amit Shah is slated to address eight major rallies, amplifying the party's visibility. BJP president Nitin Nabin and former president JP Nadda are also confirmed to join the campaign trail, ensuring a robust leadership presence across the state.

The Chief Minister personally announced that he will file his nomination for the Jalukbari constituency this Friday, underscoring his active involvement. Under the guidance of the election management committee, led by Pradan Baurah, a packed daily schedule has been arranged, featuring four meetings and one rally each day. "We have already touched all seats while distributing MMUA funds, and with the Jan Ashirwad Yatra, we have covered nearly 1,500 km," he stated.
