BJP Chief Aditya Sahu Honors Bajrang Dal Activists for Rescuing Missing Kids in Ramgarh
Newly elected state BJP president Aditya Sahu traveled to Chitarpur in Ramgarh district on Thursday. He felicitated three men for their bravery in rescuing two missing children from Dhurwa. The party claimed these activists played a crucial role in the successful operation.
Felicitation Ceremony at Rajrappa Temple
Aditya Sahu offered prayers at the Chinnamastika temple in Rajrappa before heading to Bazartand in Ramgarh. There, he honored Sunny Nayak, Sachin Prajapati, and Dablu Sahu. The three Bajrang Dal activists received recognition for their efforts in locating the missing kids.
Talking to the media after the ceremony, Sahu expressed his admiration. He said, "When the police and state authorities failed to locate the two kids for 12 days, these three Bajrang Dal activists used social media power. They traced the children and informed their parents and local police. I feel privileged to felicitate such heroes. Our activists are real social workers."
How the Activists Cracked the Case
Sunny Nayak, a 28-year-old from Nayak Tola near Bazartand in Chitarpur, owned a mobile shop that shut down three years ago. He explained the sequence of events. A nomadic man, who once lived in Chitarpur and frequently visited his shop for phone recharges, contacted him a week ago to rent a house.
The man arrived at the market with a woman and two children. He claimed he got married after leaving Chitarpur. Sunny grew suspicious because three years ago, the man was unmarried. Now, he appeared as the father of 5-year-old children.
Sunny suspected these kids might be the ones missing from Ranchi. He approached his close friends Sachin and Dablu. Together, they began tracking the couple.
Tracking and Rescue Operation
The activists zeroed in on the kids, who were kept in Ahmadnagar in Chitarpur. They planned to visit Ahmadnagar early on Wednesday. The trio barged into the house and made a video call to the children's parents in Ranchi.
After the parents identified the children, the activists immediately alerted Rajrappa police. Their quick thinking and social media skills proved instrumental in the rescue.
Local Support and Police Action
Bhanu Prakash Mahto, a local mukhiya familiar with the three youths, provided additional context. He revealed the couple intended to shift the children to another house near the highway near Bazartand in Chitarpur. This move was due to intensified police search efforts. However, the activists' intervention busted their plans before the relocation could occur.
The felicitation by Aditya Sahu highlights the growing recognition of grassroots activism in addressing social issues. It underscores the BJP's emphasis on community-driven initiatives in Ramgarh district.
