Union Minister Bandi Sanjay Alleges Collusion Between CM Revanth Reddy and BRS's KTR
Bandi Sanjay Claims Revanth Reddy and KTR Have Understanding

Union Minister Accuses Telangana CM of Collusive Politics with BRS Leader

Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar has made explosive allegations against Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, claiming he has a covert understanding with Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) working president K.T. Rama Rao (KTR). Speaking to reporters on Sunday, the Karimnagar MP suggested this alleged arrangement explains why no corruption cases have been actively pursued against KTR despite multiple allegations.

Allegations of Selective Investigations and Political Mediation

Sanjay stated that Chief Minister Revanth Reddy is acting as a mediator to reconcile differences between KTR and his sister, Kalvakuntla Kavitha. He further alleged that the current investigations are deliberately focused solely on former minister Harish Rao, rather than conducting comprehensive probes into all corruption allegations.

The minister specifically pointed to the Kaleshwaram project investigation, claiming authorities are limiting their inquiry to only three components—Annaram, Sundilla, and Medigadda—out of fear that a full investigation into the alleged ₹1 lakh crore corruption would reveal everything. "They are avoiding a thorough inquiry that might implicate KCR's family directly," Sanjay asserted.

Questioning the Scope of Corruption Probes

While Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has called for a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probe specifically into the Kaleshwaram project, Bandi Sanjay questioned this selective focus. "If Revanth believes corruption exceeds ₹1 lakh crore, why is he insisting only on a CBI probe concerning the ₹9,000 crore linked to Sundilla, Annaram, and Medigadda?" the Union Minister asked.

He implied that Revanth Reddy believes Harish Rao is involved in these specific cases, which is why the investigation remains restricted. This approach, according to Sanjay, prevents a comprehensive inquiry into the larger alleged corruption that could potentially implicate KCR's family members.

Alleged Political Alignment Between Congress and BRS

The Karimnagar MP remarked that Congress and BRS are engaging in what he described as "collusive politics," asserting that Revanth Reddy and KTR are essentially aligned politically. "Revanth and KTR are one and the same," Sanjay claimed, noting that the Chief Minister appears to be advising KTR to be cautious regarding Harish Rao.

According to the Union Minister, Revanth Reddy does not harbor the same animosity toward KTR as he does toward Harish Rao. Sanjay suggested this is why the Chief Minister avoids discussions about the pharma case, drugs, or farmhouse cases involving KTR, implying this avoidance stems from personal affinity.

Changing Dynamics and Alleged Deals

Sanjay also claimed that Revanth Reddy's anger toward former Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) has diminished significantly, suggesting that a political deal has been struck between the two leaders. "This is why their attacks are concentrated on Harish while KTR escapes scrutiny," he argued, urging Harish Rao to consider whether KTR and Revanth are truly aligned.

Regarding other corruption allegations, the MP stated that investigations into the mining scam were being conducted merely to intimidate, as those involved had allegedly looted public resources for ten years and are now attempting to perpetuate similar behavior.

BJP's Stance on Alliances and Family Rule

Bandi Sanjay emphasized that a potential BRS-BJP alliance is not feasible, as the Bharatiya Janata Party fundamentally opposes family rule in politics. "Our party fought to eradicate KCR family corruption and succeeded in defeating them," he declared.

The Union Minister noted that Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently stated in a meeting that tickets would not be issued to political family heirs, raising further doubts about any alliance with a party perceived as corrupt. "This makes any alliance with BRS, which is seen as promoting family rule, completely implausible," Sanjay added.

Political Implications of Delimitation and Reservations

With the announcement of delimitation and the implementation of 33% reservations for women in political representation, Bandi Sanjay suggested that Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has become despondent about the changing political landscape. He asserted that there should be no distinction between South and North India, claiming that all regions are treated equally by the BJP government.

"The BJP believes in equitable development across all regions without discrimination," the Union Minister stated, contrasting this with what he described as regional favoritism in some state governments.

The allegations come amid ongoing political realignments in Telangana, with corruption investigations becoming a central point of contention between the ruling Congress party and opposition groups. Bandi Sanjay's statements reflect the intensifying political warfare as parties position themselves ahead of future electoral battles.
