Key Contests
Several wards are witnessing multi-cornered fights, with prominent local leaders vying for positions. The elections are seen as a litmus test for the ruling BJP and opposition parties ahead of the state assembly polls.
Polling is scheduled to take place on a date to be announced by the State Election Commission. Counting of votes will follow shortly after.
The Ambala Municipal Corporation is responsible for civic amenities in the city, including water supply, sanitation, and road maintenance. The election results will determine the control of the corporation for the next five years.
