In a concerning incident in Pune's Dighi area, a heated argument between two criminals with police records escalated into violence on Wednesday evening. One of the individuals allegedly fired a round from a country-made firearm. Fortunately, no injuries were reported, and the police have launched a search for the accused.

According to Assistant Commissioner of Police (MIDC Bhosari Division) Sudhakar Yadav of the Pimpri Chinchwad police, the complainant, Karan Rathod, and the accused are both known criminals on police records. Both had been released from jail a few months prior to the incident.
The altercation took place around 6 PM on Wednesday in Dighi. The two were initially chatting casually, but their conversation soon turned into a heated argument. In the heat of the moment, the accused pulled out a firearm and fired a round.
Police Response
ACP Yadav confirmed that no one sustained injuries in the firing. The accused fled the scene immediately after the incident. The police have formed multiple teams to trace the suspect and expect to make an arrest soon. The investigation is ongoing, and authorities are working to ensure the safety of the area.
