NAGPUR: A mysterious fire that erupted early Wednesday morning completely destroyed two parked vehicles and damaged two others at a garage in Aradhana Nagar under the Wathoda police station limits. The incident was reported at approximately 6:09 am near Sahil Garage, prompting an immediate response from the Wathoda Fire Station.
Three firefighting vehicles, including a fire tender, a bowser, and a small fire tender, were dispatched to the scene. Firefighters successfully brought the blaze under control before it could spread to nearby properties and other vehicles, saving assets worth an estimated Rs 50 lakh.
According to the Fire and Emergency Services Department, two vehicles were completely gutted, while another vehicle and a scrap vehicle sustained partial damage. The total loss has been estimated at around Rs 15 lakh.
Officials confirmed that no injuries occurred in the incident. The garage is owned by Anant Sudhakar Kale. Fire officials have classified the cause of the fire as unknown, and further investigations are underway to determine whether the blaze was accidental or triggered by other factors. The Wathoda police have been informed.

The origin of the fire remains undetermined, with authorities exploring all possibilities. The fire department has ruled out any immediate foul play but has not dismissed the possibility of an electrical short circuit or other accidental causes.
