A tragic incident unfolded in the Doddaballapur rural area of Bengaluru on Tuesday night, where a man allegedly murdered a 30-year-old woman before taking his own life. The deceased have been identified as Manjunath and Lakshmi. According to police reports, the incident occurred around 10 PM in the Sadenahalli village.

Preliminary investigations suggest that Manjunath, a resident of the same locality, had been harassing Lakshmi for some time. On the fateful night, he confronted her near her house and attacked her with a sharp weapon, leading to her death. Subsequently, he consumed a poisonous substance and died on the spot.
