TMC Accuses BJP of Attacks on Party Offices in West Bengal

The Trinamool Congress (TMC) has leveled serious allegations against the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), accusing it of orchestrating violent attacks on TMC party offices in West Bengal. In a series of posts on social media platform X, the TMC claimed that BJP supporters vandalized its office in Berhampore, Murshidabad district, shortly after the BJP came to power.

Attack on Berhampore Office

The TMC alleged that BJP goons led a violent assault on the party office in Berhampore, resulting in widespread vandalism and chaos. The party described this as the "real face of the BJP" and accused it of showing its true colors immediately after assuming power.

Incident in Siliguri

In a separate incident, the TMC accused the BJP of setting its office in Siliguri on fire. The party claimed that the BJP had crossed all limits and was consumed by a thirst for destruction. The TMC also questioned the silence of what it termed "Godi Media," suggesting that such destructive tactics reveal the BJP's autocratic nature.

Political Context

These allegations come amid heightened political tensions in West Bengal, where the BJP and TMC have been locked in a fierce rivalry. The TMC has consistently accused the BJP of using strong-arm tactics to suppress opposition, while the BJP has denied such claims and accused the TMC of political violence.

The TMC has called for a thorough investigation into the incidents and demanded action against those responsible. The BJP has not yet issued an official response to the allegations.
