Seer Questions Railway Security After Attack on Ashutosh Maharaj

Swami Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati Raises Alarm Over Railway Security Following Attack on Ashutosh Maharaj

In a strongly worded statement, Swami Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati has expressed grave concerns regarding the security arrangements of Indian Railways in the aftermath of a violent attack on Ashutosh Maharaj while traveling aboard the Rewa Express. The seer, who arrived in Unnao on Sunday, emphasized that the incident casts a dark shadow over the safety of rail travel for all citizens.

"If Rail Travel Is No Longer Safe"

"If someone can be attacked while travelling in a train, it means travelling by rail is no longer safe," declared Avimukteshwaranand, highlighting the broader implications of the assault. He has called upon the railway authorities to conduct a thorough and transparent investigation into the matter, insisting that the facts must be presented clearly to ensure "the truth comes out." The seer was unequivocal in his stance against physical violence, clarifying that he does not support any form of such aggression.

The news of the attack reached Avimukteshwaranand while he was in Rae Bareli, where he was informed by journalists. He remarked that such violent occurrences are deeply saddening for anyone who upholds the principles of non-violence and peace.

Allegations of Manipulation and a Call for Vigilance

In his address, the seer also issued a cautionary note, alleging that individuals with questionable backgrounds often attempt to manipulate public sentiment by orchestrating fake attacks or self-inflicting injuries to garner sympathy. This statement underscores the need for discernment and careful scrutiny in such sensitive situations.

Launching the 'Dharmayudh' for Cow Protection

This development comes as Avimukteshwaranand is en route to Lucknow to initiate his 'Dharmayudh' or holy war for cow protection. Following a recent standoff with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath at the Magh Mela in Prayagraj, the seer departed from Kashi on Saturday. His journey includes stops at Jaunpur, Sultanpur, Rae Bareli, Unnao, and Lakhimpur Kheri, with a scheduled arrival in Lucknow on March 11.

From the Kanshiram Smriti Sanskritik Sthal in Lucknow, he plans to launch a non-violent and ideological movement dedicated to the protection of cows. Before leaving Kashi, Avimukteshwaranand expressed regret that a movement against the government, which was elected with the support of cow lovers, has become unavoidable. He has extended a personal invitation to CM Yogi Adityanath, recognizing him as a saint and the head of the largest 'Gau Rakshak Peeth', to join this crucial cause for cow welfare.

A 40-Day Ultimatum and the March Forward

The seer had previously issued a 40-day ultimatum to address his demands. On the 35th day, he commenced his march from Kashi, signaling a determined push towards his objectives. This movement represents a significant chapter in the ongoing discourse surrounding cow protection and governance in the region.
