Republic Day 2026 Preparations Underway: Parade to Feature Multiple Debuts Including Bhairav Battalion and Bactrian Camels
As India gears up for its 77th Republic Day celebrations on January 26, 2026, preparations are in full swing for a ceremonial parade that promises to showcase several groundbreaking firsts. Military Innovations Take Center Stage
The parade will highlight cutting-edge defence assets, with the Universal Rocket Launcher System 'Suryastra' making its debut. On the ground, eighteen marching contingents and thirteen bands will participate, with a mixed scouts contingent making its debut in heavy thermal gear, reflecting adaptability to diverse conditions.
