The National Testing Agency (NTA) has clarified that the Abu Dhabi examination centre for a NEET candidate from Nagpur was selected through the candidate's own login credentials. This statement comes amid allegations of irregularities in the allocation of foreign exam centres.
NTA's Explanation on Centre Selection
In a detailed response, the NTA asserted that the candidate's choice of Abu Dhabi as a test location was made independently via the official portal. The agency emphasized that the login process is secure and that no external interference occurred. The clarification aims to dispel doubts about the transparency of the examination process.
Delhi Police's Decision on CJP Protest
Meanwhile, the Delhi Police has refused to grant permission for an extension of the protest by the Confederation of Japanese Professionals (CJP). The police cited law and order concerns as the primary reason for the denial. The CJP had sought to continue their demonstration, which began earlier this week.
These developments highlight ongoing issues in both educational administration and civil rights. The NTA's clarification is expected to ease concerns among students and parents regarding the integrity of NEET exam centres abroad.
