The CM plans to present the state's economic priorities. He will share his government's long-term development vision for Madhya Pradesh. Officials say he will hard-sell the state's industrial strengths and potential to global audiences.

Showcasing Madhya Pradesh's Strengths

During forum sessions, the delegation will meet global business leaders. They will also engage with policy makers and investors. The state aims to showcase its stable policy framework and resource-rich ecosystem.

An official spokesperson outlined the CM's agenda. The state will highlight its balanced approach to energy production. It will emphasize commitment to green growth initiatives.

Side Meetings and Discussions

Meanwhile, on the sidelines of World Economic Forum 2026, two key officials held important meetings. Minister for New and Renewable Energy Rakesh Shukla participated. Additional Chief Secretary Manu Shrivastava also joined the discussions.

They met with Jay Galla of the Amara Raja Group. Their conversation centered on renewable energy, energy storage, and battery-based solutions. The officials also met a delegation from the AI-based company Touchlab.

During discussions, Amara Raja representatives sought information on energy storage initiatives in Madhya Pradesh. Shukla and Shrivastava informed them about a major battery storage project. This project is operational in Morena district. It ensures reliable electricity supply during peak and early morning hours.

The Davos trip represents a significant opportunity for Madhya Pradesh. The state government hopes to attract substantial investment through these engagements. They aim to showcase Madhya Pradesh as an emerging economic powerhouse with sustainable development goals.
