Muslims in Kashmir Reaffirm Support for Amarnath Pilgrims
As the annual Amarnath Yatra approaches, Kashmiri Muslims have renewed their pledge to welcome and assist pilgrims traveling to the 3,880-metre cave shrine in the south Kashmir Himalayas. The pilgrimage is set to commence on July 3, drawing devotees from across India.

"We consider it our duty to ensure that every pilgrim feels safe and respected," said a representative from the Jammu and Kashmir Muslim Council. Preparations Underway for Smooth Conduct
Authorities have begun finalizing arrangements, including security measures and infrastructure upgrades along the pilgrimage route. Over 300,000 pilgrims are expected to register for the yatra this year, according to the Shri Amarnath Shrine Board. The board has also set up medical camps and helplines to assist devotees.
