Junior Commissioned Officer Succumbs to Injuries After Terrain Accident in Poonch
A Junior Commissioned Officer (JCO) tragically lost his life on Saturday following a slip in the demanding and rugged terrain of Jammu & Kashmir's Poonch district. The incident occurred during the ongoing anti-insurgency Operation Sheri Kalan, as confirmed by an army spokesperson.
Details of the Tragic Incident
Subedar Sandeep Kumar Dhaka slipped and fell to the ground during the operation, subsequently becoming unresponsive. Despite immediate and determined medical efforts to revive him, the gallant JCO could not be saved and passed away while performing his duty.
The White Knight Corps spokesperson expressed deep sorrow in a post on social media platform X, stating, "Subedar Sandeep Kumar Dhaka slipped and fell on the ground and subsequently became unresponsive. Despite determined medical efforts to revive him, the gallant JCO lost his life in the line of duty."
