Protest at Jantar Mantar Continues for 12th Day
The Cockroach Janta Party has expressed gratitude to the All India Trinamool Congress (AITC) for extending full solidarity to the youth and activists who have been protesting at Jantar Mantar for the 12th consecutive day. The protest, which began in response to repeated paper leaks and alleged government inaction, has drawn attention to the plight of students across India.
TMC Deputy Leader Highlights Structural Issues
In her address, Deputy Leader of the Trinamool Congress in the Rajya Sabha, Sagarika Ghose, emphasized the structural problems underlying the crisis. She pointed out that the demand for accountability has come at a heavy cost, including countless paper leaks, millions of shattered dreams, over 20 student suicides, and a hunger strike by an educationist and the youth.
Government Accused of Arrogance
Activist Abhijeet Dipke remarked that never before has India seen such an arrogant government. The protesters are seeking justice and systemic reforms to prevent future tragedies. The hunger strike by educationist and youth continues to garner support from various political and social groups.
