Defence Minister Rajnath Singh stated on Sunday that India aspires for peace but has the capacity to silence those who create disturbances. Speaking at an event in Uttar Pradesh, he emphasized that the nation is currently the world's fastest-growing major economy and has emerged as a key manufacturing hub.
India's Stance on Peace and Security
Singh remarked, "India wants peace, but if someone tries to spread disturbance, we know how to silence them." He underscored that the country's strength lies in its ability to maintain peace while being prepared to counter any threats. The minister highlighted that India's economic progress and manufacturing prowess are testaments to its stability.
Economic Growth and Global Recognition
According to Singh, India's rapid economic growth has positioned it as a leading destination for global manufacturing. He noted that the government's policies have fostered an environment conducive to investment and innovation. "We are not only growing but also contributing to global supply chains," he added.
The defence minister's comments come amid ongoing regional tensions and India's proactive role in international forums. He reiterated that India's defence capabilities are robust enough to safeguard national interests while promoting peace.
Singh also praised the youth of Uttar Pradesh for their role in nation-building, urging them to contribute to India's vision of becoming a developed nation. The event was attended by local leaders and dignitaries.
