Candace Owens Intensifies Scrutiny of Charlie Kirk Mystery and TPUSA Practices
Candace Owens has once again thrust the unresolved questions surrounding conservative activist Charlie Kirk into the spotlight, this time with notably sharper and more direct commentary. Through new posts on the social media platform X and detailed discussions on her podcast, Owens has raised pointed inquiries about the aftermath of Kirk's death while launching fresh criticisms at his widow, Erika Kirk, and the organization Turning Point USA (TPUSA).
Owens Questions Charlie Kirk's Cremation and Erika Kirk's Event Absence
In a brief yet provocative post on X, Candace Owens wrote, "Was Charlie Kirk cremated?" This cryptic question, offered without immediate explanation, rapidly garnered significant online attention and speculation. Expanding on this theme during her podcast, Owens also addressed Erika Kirk's non-appearance at a public event featuring Ohio Senator JD Vance.
Owens remarked sarcastically, "Shabbat Shalom! Mommy stayed home. Because of… threats? That's Erika's story and she's sticking to it." This comment references an event at the University of Georgia where JD Vance appeared solo, with Vance stating that Erika Kirk remained absent due to security threats, though no specific details were provided to substantiate this claim.
Furthermore, Owens reiterated earlier allegations connected to the day of Charlie Kirk's passing in September 2025. She asserted, "The ATF traced a mysterious gun on the morning of September 10th… a TPUSA faith Pastor and friend of Erika Kirk tried to buy his company." As with her other statements, Owens did not present verifiable evidence to support this claim, and no official reports have confirmed any aspect of these allegations.
Accusations of Edited Footage and Revival of 'Charlie GPT' Theory
In another bold accusation, Candace Owens claimed that Turning Point USA utilized manipulated video footage during a Fox News broadcast. She alleged that the organization edited together older clips to conceal the fact that JD Vance addressed a largely empty venue, thereby creating a misleading impression of the event's attendance and atmosphere.
Owens specifically contended that the footage was altered to portray a different narrative than what actually occurred. To date, Turning Point USA has not issued any public response to these allegations of deceptive media practices.
Simultaneously, Owens resurrected her previously floated "Charlie GPT" conspiracy theory. She stated, "There was a plot to remove Charlie and then to use Charlie GPT to convince the world that it was… Charlie's dying wish for his wife to replace him." This theory suggests an artificial intelligence-driven scheme to fabricate posthumous endorsements.
Adding another layer to her claims, Owens mentioned that certain donors contacted her, alleging that an audio clip of Charlie Kirk expressing support for Erika Kirk was fraudulent. According to Owens, these donors insisted that Kirk never made such statements during an event in Aspen.
Owens also voiced personal apprehensions regarding Erika Kirk's association with commentator Ben Shapiro, describing a "troubling sense of evil," yet again failing to provide any corroborating evidence. None of these multifaceted claims have been verified by law enforcement, independent investigators, or representatives from Turning Point USA.
The ongoing controversy underscores the persistent mysteries and unverified narratives that continue to swirl around the circumstances of Charlie Kirk's death and the subsequent actions of key figures and organizations within conservative circles.
