UP BJP Chief Condemns Opposition's Disruption of President's Parliament Address
Union minister and Uttar Pradesh BJP president Pankaj Chaudhary has launched a scathing attack on the Congress party and INDIA bloc functionaries following their disruption of President Droupadi Murmu's address to the joint session of Parliament. The incident occurred on the opening day of the Budget session on Wednesday, sparking widespread condemnation from ruling party leaders.
Chaudhary Demands Public Apology from Opposition
On Thursday, Chaudhary described the opposition's conduct as not only shameful and reprehensible but also characterized it as a direct attack on the soul of Indian democracy. The senior BJP leader demanded that opposition parties issue a public apology to the citizens of India for their actions during this significant parliamentary occasion.
Chaudhary emphasized that the President's address represents government policies, priorities, and achievements in nation-building. Deliberately creating disruptions and causing disturbance on such a dignified occasion is completely against constitutional norms, he asserted, highlighting the gravity of the incident.

The Union minister made serious allegations that during the commotion, the national song Vande Mataram was also insulted. Chaudhary expressed particular disappointment with senior Congress leaders Mallikarjun Kharge and Rahul Gandhi, noting that they made no attempt to stop the disruption. Instead, he claimed their conduct further aggravated the situation, undermining parliamentary decorum.

The BJP leader appealed to all political parties to rise above their differences and ensure respect for the highest constitutional office of the President. He stressed that only through such mutual respect can Parliament truly become the genuine voice of the people.
