Woman's Body Discovered Under Car Near Greater Noida Residence
Police in Greater Noida have registered a murder case after finding a woman's body under a car close to her rented home. The grim discovery occurred on Monday morning in the Beta 2 sector.
Details of the Incident
Local residents spotted the body around 9 am. It was located barely 50 meters from the woman's residence. Officers from the Beta 2 police station quickly arrived at the scene.
The victim was a 27-year-old woman who worked at a call center in Noida. She originally hailed from Uttar Pradesh. Police noted several bruises on her body during the initial examination.
Timeline of Events
The woman left her home for work on Sunday morning. When she failed to return later that day, her younger brother grew concerned. He tried calling her mobile phone, but it was switched off.
The brother then contacted other relatives to inform them about her disappearance. Before the family could approach police on Monday, the body was discovered by locals.
"Her body was found under a car very close to her home," said Station House Officer Vinod Kumar of Beta 2 police station.
Family Background and Investigation
Police revealed that the woman moved to Greater Noida from Jaipur about a year ago. She lived with her younger brother. Their parents have passed away, and an elder brother resides in Agra.
Authorities have sent the body for post-mortem examination. A murder case under Section 103 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita has been registered against an unidentified suspect.
Investigators are currently scanning CCTV footage from nearby areas. They hope to find clues that might lead to the perpetrator. The case remains under active investigation as police work to identify the suspect.
