A 51-year-old woman tragically died by suicide on Monday morning in the Dindoshi area of Goregaon (East), Mumbai. The incident has left her family and neighbours in shock.

The woman was a resident of a Slum Rehabilitation Authority (SRA) building in Dindoshi. She lived there with her two sons and two daughters, all of whom are adults above 18 years of age. According to the police, the tragic event occurred around 7 am on Monday, while her children were still asleep in another room.
Neighbours discovered the woman lying in a pool of blood and immediately alerted her family members. One of the neighbours also called the police control room to report the emergency. A police vehicle from the Dindoshi police station quickly reached the location. The woman was rushed to a nearby hospital for medical attention.
Unfortunately, she was declared dead on arrival by the doctors at the hospital. The police confirmed that they did not find a suicide note at her residence during their initial inspection.
