V R Kamalanathan Elected President of Historic Madras Bar Association
In a significant development for India's legal community, advocate V R Kamalanathan has been elected as the president of the Madras Bar Association. This prestigious association, recognized as one of the oldest Bar associations in the country, held its election for new office-bearers on January 21.
New Office-Bearers Announced
The election results brought forth a new leadership team for the association. Alongside Kamalanathan's appointment as president, advocate J Pothiraj was elected as the secretary. Other key positions were filled by V T Balaji as treasurer and D Raja as librarian.
