Cause of Death Under Investigation

According to police officials, the exact cause of death is yet to be determined. Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Dehradun, Ajay Singh, stated that a post-mortem examination has been ordered to ascertain the reason behind the sudden collapse. Preliminary reports suggest that Chand may have suffered a cardiac arrest, but no official confirmation has been made.

Chand was known to be a fitness enthusiast and regularly visited the gym. He had been serving in the STF for several years and was highly regarded by his colleagues. His untimely death has sent shockwaves through the police department.

Colleagues Mourn the Loss

“Subhash Chand was a dedicated officer and a fitness role model. His sudden demise is a great loss for the department. We are all in shock,” said a senior STF official who wished not to be named. Another colleague remarked, “He was always encouraging us to stay fit. It is tragic that he collapsed while doing what he loved.”

The incident has raised questions about the safety of intense workouts, especially for individuals in their 50s. Health experts recommend regular medical check-ups and caution when engaging in high-intensity exercise.

An investigation is ongoing, and the police department is extending full support to the bereaved family.
