In a disturbing incident, two men were found dead inside a parked car near a roadside drain in outer north Delhi on Tuesday. The discovery was made after police received information about two individuals lying motionless within the vehicle, located under the jurisdiction of the Narela Industrial Area police station.

Upon arriving at the scene, a police team encountered a white car with its windows shut. The vehicle was unlocked, and upon inspection, officers found two men inside. A foul smell emanating from the car indicated that the bodies had likely been there for an extended period. Three liquor pouches were recovered from the vehicle—two sealed and one open—adding a layer of complexity to the investigation.
Timeline and Identification
Through CCTV footage analysis and local inquiries, police determined that the car had been parked at the location since approximately 2 pm the previous day. No one was observed entering or exiting the vehicle after that time. The crime team was summoned to conduct a thorough inspection, and the bodies were subsequently transported to a hospital for a post-mortem examination.
The deceased have been identified as Vikas, 42, a driver and resident of Ambedkar Colony in Khera Khurd, who was seated in the driver's seat, and Bijender, 36, a plumber from the same locality, found in the back seat. The car is registered to Rakesh Kumar, 49, also of Ambedkar Colony, who originally hails from Shahjahanpur in Uttar Pradesh.
