A heart-wrenching accident in Rajasthan's Alwar district has claimed the life of a three-year-old boy. The toddler was run over by a reversing car while playing near his home in Behror town, sending shockwaves through the local community.

The incident occurred on Friday around 4:30 PM at the Upawan Housing Society in Behror, which falls under the Kotputli-Behror district. The victim, identified as Yash Yadav, was playing inside the housing society's compound. According to police, the child had wandered near some parked vehicles.
"The driver failed to notice the toddler playing behind his car as he started backing out," stated an officer who was among the first responders. "The car ran over the boy and dragged him for some distance before the driver noticed," the officer added. Shockingly, the driver of the vehicle chose to flee the scene immediately after the accident.

Alarmed by the child's screams, residents rushed to the spot. Yash was rushed to a nearby hospital in a critical condition, but doctors declared him dead on arrival.
