Tragic Motorcycle Crash Claims Three Lives in Kanpur
Three friends lost their lives in a devastating motorcycle accident near Kanpur. The incident happened late on Sunday night. It occurred in the Fatehganj police station area of Banda district.
Details of the Fatal Accident
The motorcycle crashed into a tree after hitting an animal tethering post. This post stood outside a house near Kalyanpur village. Police confirmed all three riders sustained critical injuries.
Authorities rushed the trio to Naraini Community Health Centre. Two of the friends died at this facility. The third young man received transfer to Rani Durgavati Medical College. He succumbed to his injuries late that night.
Victims Identified from Chitrakoot District
The deceased have been named as Rajababu, aged 35, and Arjun, also 35. The third victim was Dhirendra, known as Dheeru Dwivedi. He was 27 years old. All three men resided in Byur and Rasin villages of Chitrakoot district.
Brother Recounts the Fatal Journey
Kailash, brother of Rajababu, provided details about the evening. He said Rajababu left on Sunday evening with his friends Arjun and Dhirendra. Their purpose was to drop Dhirendra at his aunt's house.
Kailash explained the cause of the accident. He stated that blinding lights from an oncoming vehicle caused Rajababu to lose control. The motorcycle then struck a post installed for tying animals. This impact sent the vehicle crashing into a nearby tree.
Notably, Rajababu was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
Police Response and Investigation
Villagers alerted the authorities about the accident. Fatehganj police station inspector Ramkishor promptly reached the spot. He arranged transportation for all three injured men to Naraini CHC.
An official provided an update on the case. "All three bodies have been sent for postmortem examination," the official stated. "Further investigations into the incident are currently underway."
